On Sept. 10, Vice President Kamala Harris faced off against former President Donald Trump in their first presidential debate together. Shortly following Harris’ outstanding performance, global sensation Taylor Swift announced on Instagram that she would be endorsing Vice President Harris for president. Her post included a link to register to vote which according to vote.org, had over 35,000 submissions.

Swift was not the only musician who endorsed the Harris-Walz ticket since the debate. On Tuesday for National Voter Registration Day superstar Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas urged people to register to vote and to support Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

The vice president has been collecting endorsements from other prominent people too. This week we also saw 17 members of the Reagan administration come out and not only throw their support for the vice president but went as far to say that President Reagan would have endorsed her too if he was still alive.

Last week former Congresswoman Liz Cheney and her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney endorsed Harris. The former Congresswoman is known for being one of only two Republicans to serve on the House Jan. 6th Committee.

All of this comes after over 200 Bush, McCain and Romney staffers endorsed Harris. This includes late Sen. John McCain’s son who changed his registration to be registered as a democrat.

This incredible show of support for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz has only been increasing since President Biden dropped out and that trajectory does not look like it will slow down anytime soon. Democrats are thrilled to vote for the first female president. And Republicans are scared of voting for a man who is unfit for office.
